Just got these but they are incredibly soft, have two adjustable straps but do run a bit small. Normally I’m a 9.5-10 and I ended on a 10.5 in these. I tightened the straps and they seem to be great now. Haven’t worn them for long periods of time yet

"I just received these today. For the price, I am happy with them. I am an 8.5 and the 8 - 8.5 fit perfectly. I appreciate the cushioned foot bed, but there is hardly any arch support. If you have had birks, and are used to the arch hugging right up into that inner arch cup of your foot, know that these do not have that. There is quite a gap between the footbed and my arch. Not sure how they will feel after wearing for several hours due to that, but they feel comfortable the little I have walked around in them in my home today.

This shoe was great! I got them as a gift for my boyfriend who has wide feet. He loved them but they were a bit big so I plan to repurchase them in another size. I also got them as a gift for my dad last year and he is obsessed with them. If you have wide feet, these shoes are perfect!

I fell in love with the shoes when I first received them. They're super versatile with different clothing and accessories. However, after having the shoes for 6 months and wearing them less than probably 30 times, they're starting to fall apart. The leather upper is separating from the sides near the area of the shoe where it bends via the fit. Definitely not worth the the price for the wear I've gotten out of them.

Soooooo comfy and amazing!! They were affordable and way exceeded expectations. The inside is so soft and velvety. My feet were sore from work but after I just tried on these shoes, my feet don't feel sore anymore 😅 they fit perfectly, I love them!

These are a great Birk dupe - very comfortable, the straps do not cut into my feet. The size is pretty exact and since these should be worn a little big (like flip flops), I recommend getting a size up. I'm a 7.5, so I got the 8/8.5 and they're perfect. Will be buying again once I wear these out. :)

Bought these for my daughter to wear as house shoes/slippers. Been a couple weeks, and they aren't falling apart despite daily use. Durable, comfortable sandal for walking around the house while we redo our floor.

So today I just ordered what I believe to be my 8th or 9th pair of the McGuffey Plain Toe, so I feel immensely qualified to comment. First the negative. . . Clearly I like them a lot, aside from 3 issues in the past. 1) One pair was inexplicably cut tight in the outside toe area and my pinky toes suffered through a lengthy break-in period (I've always ordered 9. 5 M). I managed to survive. 2) On two occasions, the laces were so short that tying them securely was nearly impossible. This is exacerbated by the fact that the style of lace on this shoe seems to find its way loose too easily. The positive. . . It is a super attractive and comfortable shoe that I consider reasonably durable (and I'm pretty tough on shoes). Lastly, the look has a good range, in that it can handle both casual and more formal wear very well. Versatile is perhaps a good descriptor for the McGuffey. Strongly recommend. Good value.

Very comfortable, but the size is a little deceiving. I bought a 10 which fits me but I had to buckle the strap closest to my ankle to one more whole. If I hadn't done that they would fly off my feet. I actually ordered a 10 1/2 I got the 10 but the 10 and a half was too big. The size 10 just fit me. I would think that these would be good for people with wide feet. They have rubber on the bottom but right above the rubber is cork. I would never wear these if it was raining or if it had rain and there was wet ground. I think it would ruin these shoes. As you can tell from the picture my foot goes almost to the very back of the shoe and my toes don't go to the very front, thank goodness, because I don't like toes hanging over sandals. But because I tightened the one strap my foot won't go in any further. I have narrow to medium size feet. But overall these are good shoes and at a very good price compared to Birkenstocks.
